White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Chocolate Covered Strawberry

So I know these don’t look like the beautiful Chocolate Covered Strawberries from, lets say, The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory…but we sure had fun making them! Jenny & I were making a fruit plate to bring to a Super Bowl party and she remembered that we had some dipping sauce that we had not used from Christmas…(not sure exactly WHICH Christmas 🙂 but I did find it in the depths of the pantry…(Won’t be posting pictures of the pantry, EVER!)

Wash & thoroughly dry strawberries.

Wash strawberries, and lay them out on a towel to dry.  Makes sure they are COMPLETELY dry, or the dipping just won’t work!  You can’t get moisture into the melted chocolate or you just have a disaster!

Bakers Dipping Chocolate

This is what we found in the pantry…if it was a fine wine, age is a good thing…but it is chocolate, so not so sure.  We couldn’t find an expiration date, so decided  it should be ok; either that or it was produced before the food manufacturers had to put on a date.

So pretty!

Dip the dried strawberries into the dipping chocolate and place on a waxed paper lined cookie sheet.  They are looking so nice!

Drizzle on the Chocolate!

We were not too impressed with our work until Jen started drizzling on the Chocolate…it certainly made them look a little more festive! Pretty Cool! Delicious too!

Enjoy making these treats for someone special this week!  Perfect Valentine’s Day treat…but easy enough to make any time of the year!
