Time flies so quickly! Our kids and grandbabies were all just home for the MCC Auction (Mennonite Central Committee) where they auction off beautiful handmade quilts, pies, furniture, and have the “Feeding of the Multitude” where we all over-indulge on traditional Mennonite foods such as Verenike, Zwiebach, Cherry Moos, New Years Cookies, Borscht, Homemade Sausage and of course, more Pie! For me, the MCC event is one of the best parts of the Spring Season in Kansas!
If you’ve never been, and you live in Kansas, it would be a great event to put on your “to experience” next spring! The event opens on Friday late afternoon and goes through Saturday. By the way, they don’t call it “Feeding the Multitude” for nothing! Here is the LINE of people waiting to eat…
