Gingersnaps

Gingersnaps

3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves

Cream Crisco and sugar.  Add molasses and egg. Sift and add dry ingredients.  Roll into balls, and roll balls in sugar.  Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cool on a wire rack.
