2 tubes low-fat refrigerated crescent rolls
2 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 pkg. pre-chopped cabbage
2 cans low-fat cream of mushroom soup
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Press one tube of crescents into the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 glass pan. Brown ground beef, drain. Add cabbage and soup. Cook until cabbage is tender. Season. Place cabbage mixture over crescents; top with cheddar cheese, and place other tube of crescents over top of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Bill loves this with spicy mustard! Serves 6-8.
So funny – I was in Alma yesterday at the cheese factory – struck up a conversation with the clerk who said she has a recipe for bierock casserole. Sounded yummy and easy – she is sending to me. Guess I should have known everything you need can be found in Buhler!!
