Blue Ribbon Gingersnaps

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. ginger

Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses, salt and eggs and beat well. Add rest of ingredients and beat well. Form into balls and size of walnuts. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Do not over bake! Makes approximately 5 dozen.
