I am so blessed to have the Mother that I have! She has shaped my values, lifestyle, career path, education and has been very influential in the lives of my sisters and her extended family and friends. My mother taught us to work hard, cook, bake, sew, entertain, run a customer first business and to get along with others (which was TOUGH with 5 little girls in the house!) She continues to teach me today. I am so proud to be Ruth Meyer’s daughter!
This is one of my all time favorite photos of us standing in front of our house in southern California in about 1969. Mother made these light pink matching dresses (one of MANY sets of matching outfits) for this occasion. Looking back, my mother was only 33 years old when this photo was taken and she had already accomplished so much in life!
