Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

1 c. Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. chunky peanut butter
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. milk
3/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Mix Crisco, sugars, eggs and peanut butter well.  add the sifted dry ingredients: flour, soda, salt and then the milk.  Add oatmeal and chocolate chips.  Roll into balls about the size of a walnut.  (If dough is too soft, chill for 2 hours). Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  Makes approximately 4 dozen cookies.
