Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine butter, brown sugar, pudding mix and vanilla in a large bowl and cream.  Beat in eggs. Mix in flour and baking soda; then fold in chocolate chips. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Makes approximately 6 dozen.
