2 cans Apple Pie Filling
1 package Cranberry Walnut Dip Mix, dry (or Caramel Apple Dip Mix)
1 dry Yellow Cake Mix
1 stick chilled butter, sliced or shredded
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Spray crock pot with Pam or use a crock pot liner. Dump 2 cans of Apple Pie Filling into crock pot and pour in dry dip mix. Stir in completely. Pour on entire box of dry yellow cake mix. Even out with a fork. Slice chilled butter into small pats or shred and place all over top of cake mix. If desired, sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts. Turn crock pot on high and bake for 2 1/2 – 3 hours without lifting the lid.
YUM! So easy! Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
