2 1/2 c. cooked rice
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
2/3 c. white or brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
2 T. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins
3 T. butter, softened
Combine all ingredients. Pour into a buttered baking dish which will fit into you slow cooker. (This can also be poured directly into a buttered crockpot). Cook on high for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir every 10 minutes during the first 30 minutes.
