1 lb. steak (or roast beef) cubed and browned
3 c. chopped celery
2 c. sliced carrots
3 c. water
16 oz. can tomatoes, chopped
2 sm. onions, chopped
10 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
1 tsp. pepper
2-4 T. beef bouillion granules
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1-2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
Mix all ingredients, except butter and flour, in crock pot. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. One hour before serving turn on high. Make a roux of melted butter and flour. Pour roux into soup and stir until thickened.
