2 firm ripe pears
2 T. butter or margarine
6 large eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
1 T. Sugar
1 T. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. whipped cream cheese
2 T. brown sugar
Peel and cut pears into 1/2″ chunks. In 9″ to 10″ non-stick pan melt butter on the stove; add pears and cook until lightly browned. Place pears in 1-quart greased baking dish. In bowl, blend eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour over pears. Bake at 425° for 8 to 12 minutes. Spoon servings into individual bowls and top each portion with cream cheese. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
