What You Need:
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
12 oz. Dr. Pepper (regular)
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c buttermilk powder
1 t. baking soda
2 t. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
Put butter and Dr. Pepper into a 1 qt. measuring cup. Heat until the butter has melted. Sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon, cocoa, buttermilk powder and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture. Stir the vanilla and chocolate chips into the batter. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake about 35 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly touched.
*note: Take about 2 T. of the flour mixture and sprinkle on the chocolate chips. This will help prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the pan.
