Mom’s Sour Cream Chocolate Sheet Cake

1 c. butter
4 T. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. soda

Boil butter, cocoa, water in a saucepan. Mix sugar, flour, and salt and add cocoa mixture. Blend. Add and blend after each: eggs, sour cream, and soda. Grease and flour a sheet cake pan. Pour in pan and bake at 375° for 28 minutes. Let cool.

Icing

4 T. milk
4 T. cocoa
1 T. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted
powdered sugar

Mix together. Add powdered sugar to desired consistency.
