Party Potatoes

12 servings of Potato Buds prepared according to directions on box*
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 c. sour cream (I like to use a little bit more)
dry chives or parsley, as desired
salt & pepper as desired
1/4 c. melted butter
paprika, as desired (optional)

Blend prepared potatoes, softened cream cheese, onion salt, sour cream and dry chives or parsley. Add salt & pepper as desired. Put in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika, chives or parsley. Bake at 350 for on hour or until hot & bubbly.

*Recipe note: You may substitute real mashed potatoes equivalent to 12 servings. This recipe was served at BJ & Denise’s rehearsal dinner and was brought to Buhler by BJ’s mother, Verna Heizelman from South Dakota. This recipe has become a Buhler favorite.
