Peach Cobbler

1 stick oleo
1 c. flour
1  1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
fresh peaches, sliced or large can of sliced peaches, drained

Melt stick of oleo in baking dish.  Mix well flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and milk.  Pour over melted oleo.   Arrange sliced peaches on top of batter.  Sprinkle remaining 1/2 sugar over peaches.  Do not mix.  Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
