Pudding Cake

Crust

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg

Mix together the cake mix, butter, and egg to create a crust. Press into a greased 9 x 13 pan and work up the sides

Pudding

1 each 5 oz. and 3.4 oz cook and serve chocolate pudding mix
4 1/2 c. milk

Prepare pudding according to the package directions. (I also add 4 egg yolks, you will use the whites in the meringue). Pour pudding over crust in the pan.

Meringue

4 egg whites
6 T. sugar

Beat the eggs until they hold peaks. Add sugar 2 T. at a time. Put on top of the hot pudding. Make sure to seal all the corners and the curst. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serve cooled.
