Base

1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix
1/3 c. oleo
1 egg
3 c. mini marshmallows
 Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all base ingredients except marshmallows and chocolate chips. Mix at low speed till crumbly. Press in bottom of slightly greased 9×13 pan. Bake at 350° for 12-18 minutes or till light brown. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven for 3-4 minutes, until they begin to puff. Remove , sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired. Cool while preparing topping.

Topping

2/3 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. oleo
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. butterscotch chips
 2 c. rice Krispies
 2c. peanuts

Heat corn syrup, oleo, vanilla & chips just till mixture is melted. Remove from heat, stir in cereal & nuts. Immediately spoon over marshmallows. Spread to cover. Chill. Cut into bars. Store covered.
