2 pkgs. crescent rolls
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
2-8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
cinnamon
pecan pieces (optional)
Preheat oven to 350. Spread 1 pkg. of crescent rolls evenly on bottom of 9X13 pan. Pat down. Mix 1 c. sugar, cream cheese and vanilla. Mix until creamy then spread over rolls. Lay second can of rolls over mixture but don’t pat down. Melt Butter and 1/2 c. sugar in microwave about 30 seconds. Stir and heat another 30 seconds or until mixture is consistency of syrup. Spread over rolls. Sprinkle with cinnamon and pecan pieces. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool before cutting. Makes one dozen squares.
