14-16 Twinkies, unwrapped
2 – 10 oz. frozen strawberries
2 – 3 oz. pkgs. strawberry Jello
3 c. boiling water
Cool Whip
Fresh strawberries for garnish, if desired
Line up Twinkies in a glass 9 x 13 baking dish. Mix boiling water, Jello, and strawberries. Pour over Twinkies. refrigerate until Jello has set. Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving if desired. This is a very refreshing dessert in the hot summertime!
*Note: This is one of Adrians MOST REQUESTED recipes. We have served it at two different events here in the store. I would say that one change I have made is to let the jello just start to set before pouring over the Twinkies. In the hot, hot days of summer…this is a great dessert! THANK YOU SANDY!!!!
