Chocolate Snow Balls

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg, then stir in flour and salt. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 15-20 minutes. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool on wire rack.
