Best Ever Peach Cobbler
1 stick oleo
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
3 c. chopped peaches
1/2 c. sugar
In an 8×8 pan, melt oleo. Separately, mix together flour,sugar, baking powder, and milk. Then pour over oleo – DO NOT STIR! Put chopped peaches on top of batter – DO NOT STIR! Sprinkle 1/2 c. sugar over peaches – DO NOT STIR! Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Note: I sometimes sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top, but the recipe does not call for it. This is so easy and if you have good fresh peaches it is just awesome – and easy. DO NOT STIR! It’s important not to.
