Blue Ribbon Gingersnaps

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. ginger

Cream shortening and sugar.  Add molasses, salt and eggs and beat well.  Add rest of ingredients and beat well.  Form into balls the size of walnuts.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.  Do not over bake! Makes approx 5 doz.
